Topix Grows 81%, According to Hitwise

Hitwise just came out with its U.S. News and Media Report (registration required for full report), which highlights some interesting trends in online media -- from the rise of video to the importance of Google and aggregators as upstream traffic drivers.
The report also singled out Topix for jumping 81% year over year in market share of visits and succeeding in "engaging users of all ages in local communities throughout the country.”
